Well we are back from California and a special thanks goes out to my parents for all their hospitality. Late in the trip they took the kids to Six Flags amusment park while Vangie and I went to the Bodega Bay Inn & Spa alone for a quite dinner and a message.
My parents claimed the children were good but were not sure we believe them. A day in the hot sun at an amusement park sometimes can be a disaster. Max is at the age where he is too cool for the kiddy rides and too scared to ride the big kid rides. Jake is up for anything but when he finds himself on a scary ride he will demand to get off in the middle of the ride which often is impossible. Once the scary ride is done Jake claims he loved it but if you ask him if he wants to ride again he will say no!
