My Day at the Gastroenterologist

It's been about a year and my stomach was still bothering me so Vangie convinced me to get things checked out. Today I went to the gastroenterologist and had them check out my stomach. A friend of mine had some connections and was able to get me these pictures of my stomach. He also convinced them to give me a pair of moon shorts. These shorts have a flap in the back in case the doctor has to scope your back end. I had to promise not to garden in them. I'm not big on gardening so this shouldn't be a problem.
They took me back to the room and I got to have the procedure done in my clothes which surprised me. They even let me keep my shoes on. This made me very comfortable. I was prepared for the little gown the hospitals make you wear. I had made sure I wore clean underwear with no holes. Anyway, I got into the room where they performed the scope and they turned me on my side, turned on the anesthesia and I was knocked out. They woke me up a few minutes later and it was done. I didn't know anything had ever happened. It wasn't a bad procedure at all. I was happy with how things went. I think I must have been to a really good doctor because I overheard how happy the lady in the area next to me was with her procedure and they went in the backdoor on that one. I wondered if she got a pair of moon pants to take home too?
Anyway Vangie came in and we sat down with the doctor and went over the pictures and basically he said there is nothing wrong with me. Vangie was very happy, I think because I say I can't do a lot of things because of my stomach. Now I don't have any excuses. The doctors think I have reflux and just need to take medicine when it gets bad. I guess if I want to I can start drinking the Dew again. We will see how it goes.
