SOCCER SOCCER SOCCER
First day of soccer we had two games today both at 10:30 AM. I am an assistant coach on Max's team and was also in charge of the team snack for the game. Vangie ran back and forth between the games and took pictures and gave me updates on Jake.Max's team won 5 nothing, Max played foward, defense and goalie. Max had an assist in the first half and did a really good job bringing the ball up field. Max is a determined and fearless player who never gives up on a ball or afraid to go toe to toe for a ball with a bigger guy. Max played goalie in the third quarter and helped preserve the shut out.
Jake I'm told is a goal scoring machine, he had 4 goals in the first game. Vangie was not sure what the final score was but she told me she did not think it was close. They had to pull Jake a few times to keep the game from getting out of hand.
