Turkey Day & Stuff
Happy Thanksgiving! We went to Patti and Jeff's for Thanksgiving on Thursday morning and had a wonderful dinner with them and my parents. On Saturday we went to see the Flyers play the Columbus Blue Jackets. We rooted for the Flyers and they won 3-2. Max and Jake initially refused to have their picture tacken with the Flyer Girls but we bribed them with candy and hot dogs. We still got unhappy faces on those pictures. Apparently girls are still yucky. On Saturday Me, Jeff and my Dad went to hunt Chucker and Pheasants with Jeff's dog Java. We shot ten birds and only one got away from us. I got a few but one we were unable to take home because I shot too quick and ruined the bird. Jeff cleaned the birds when we got home. The kids went to Valley Forge National Park with Vangie, Patti, and Mom while we were out hunting. We also celebrated my Dad's Birthday on Black Friday with a Pumpkin Cheese cake that was delicious. I have thrown in a picture of Max in his Boy Scout Uninform from last Friday's Pack Meeting. He earned his Soccer, Flag Football and Computer belt loop this past month.
Time to start hanging the Christmas lights and start shopping.
