Pinewood derby
Max's car consistently finished 4th out of 6 other cars. I think he did have one third place finish and he won a trophy for car most likely built by a scout. Some of the cars clearly did not look like they were built by a 7 year old but I can honestly say max did a great deal of work on his car. I drilled the holes to add the weight and put on the wheels. Max painted and shaped the car with the sander. I think he was a little miffed he did not win a race but we picked up some tricks from the other dads and hope to do better next year. Jake will be a tiger cub next year and I will have to help him build one as well.
