Teeth & Shoes

Max lost one of his big front teeth at school this week. It was lost at school and thought to have fallen down a drain and Max got upset because of course how would the tooth fairy come? At today's tooth fairy rates I can sympathize with his plight. Lucky enough for him and not so lucky for my pocket book his teacher was able to find the tooth the following day. Apparently this tooth held all the spit in his mouth. He went around the next couple of days making slurping sounds. The other big tooth is also loose, I'm afraid we will need a bib to catch all the spit when that happens.

Max celebrated his birthday with his Granddady and Nina from Maryland. They took him out and bought him Heely's for his birthday. These are shoes with wheels in the heels. He has spent the last twenty four hours sliding around the house, which is quite loud especially on the tile floor which happens to be below our bedroom. I am also envisioning a few trips to the emergency room. But Max loves them and hasn't taken them off.

Jake also loves Heely's. Here he is trying to remove them from his brother's feet. Good thing his birthday is coming up in a month or so. Jake is going to be 6 and Max is turning 8. It seems like now we need two of everything as Jake and Max share the same interests.

POLLYWOG UPDATE - Not Dead Yet - they actually got a little bigger but no hands or feet at this time.
