Boy Scout Camp
Been a busy two weeks, Max has had All Star baseball practice almost every night for two hours. Jake and Max have been going to soccer camp during the day. This week Max has baseball camp every day for three hours. I'll have pictures of baseball stuff soon.
This past weekend was Partner and Pal weekend up at the Boy Scout camp. Max and I went up Friday night and came home Sunday morning. We camped in tents. Max's days are pretty packed at camp. Max earned his BB gun belt loop and his archery belt loop. He is also working on his fishing belt loop.
Jake got to stay home with Mom and eat bagels and visit a restaurant with lots of video games called the Colleseum. Jake loves bagels. Him and Mom had a good time playing at the pool. Jake will be a Tiger and join the boyscouts with some of his friends in the fall. Here is Jake playing on the slip and slide.
Here are some more pictures of Max at camp:
Max in his new uniform. He is no longer a Wolf but has moved on to become Bear.
Learning to shoot a bow and arrow was frustrating for many of the guys in his den. It was tough for Max too but he said it was his favorite activity.
Still trying to get back and get pictures of the Camel. Vangie got me a cell phone for my birthday with a camera so now I will never miss a shot. Also I think the frog and tadpole are still alive. I am convinced something is wrong with that tadpole that won't evolve. He grew legs but that's it. Jake claims that one is Max's. Still no names. How they have lasted this long is beyond me. I think they get ignored for days at a time before we throw them a cricket. They can't last much longer.
